Recipe - Cream Soup Mix
This is a great substitute for canned creamed soups. Lower in sodium and preservatives, it's a great option, so give it a try.

9 Servings
- 2 cups powdered milk
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken bouillon powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Combine and store in a canister for up to 3 months.
To make soup, whisk 1/3 cup mix with 1-1/4 cup cold water in small saucepan until smooth. Bring to boil over medium heat and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Equals 1 can of soup.
