Recipe - Italian Dressing Mix
~ 4 tablespoons dried oregano
~ 2 tablespoon dried parsley
~ 2 tablespoon garlic powder
~ 2 tablespoon onion powder
~ 2 tablespoon white sugar
~ 2 teaspoon ground black pepper
~ 2 teaspoon sea salt
~ 2 teaspoon dried basil
~ 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
~ 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
Makes 32 Servings
Mix all ingredients and store in a tightly closed container. I prefer glass.
Mix 2 tablespoons of the seasoning mix with 1/4 cup white vinegar and 2/3 cup of an oil of choice. Canola oil is the most popular, but I like to use Olive Oil and a mixture of Olive Oil and Canola Oil (to help keep the cost down).
You can also change the taste by substituting balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
Allow the dressing to sit overnight before using. Store at room temperature.
