Recipe - Low Sodium Taco Seasoning
Enough for one pound of ground beef
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Mix ingredients well, breaking up any lumps in the seasoning or cornstarch. Add to cooked ground beef that has been drained of grease. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of water. Cook meat for an additional 5-10 minutes until sauce thickens.
