Uses for Coconut Oil

  • Use as a moisturizer for neck, face, lips, under eyes, elbows and knees.
  • Use before and after shaving.
  • Use as an insect repellent by mixing with a few drops of peppermint oil.
  • Mix with white sugar to create a body scrub.
  • Aids digestion, so eat a spoonful or two everyday with a meal.

  • Keeps blood sugar stable, so eat a spoonful with every meal.
  • Replace oil, butter or shortening with coconut oil when baking.
  • Mix with equal parts baking soda to remove sticky residue from hard surfaces.
  • Clean and moisturize leather products by rubbing coconut oil in a circular motion with a soft cloth.
  • Remove paint from skin by mixing a small amount of baking soda with coconut oil and rub skin until paint is removed.
