Hydrogen Peroxide

Uses for Hydrogen Peroxide

  • Add 1 cup to white laundry to whiten just like bleach.  As with bleach, dilute in water before adding to clothes.
  • Use a 50/50 solution of water and hydrogen peroxide to sanitize hard surfaces around the house.
  • Mix 1 oz. with 1 quart water and spray houseplants to make them greener.
  • Remove harmful pesticides from fruits and vegetables by filling a sink with tap water and adding a 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide.  Add fruit, wash well and rinse with tap water.

  • Use a 50/50 solution of water and hydrogen peroxide as a mouth rinse to kill germs, bacteria, and whiten teeth.  Do not swallow.
  • Store hydrogen peroxide in it's dark bottle away from light to preserve it's effectiveness.
