Ivory Bar Soap


Uses for Ivory Bar Soap

  • Shred a little soap into some water and use it to help remove wallpaper.
  • Makes a great finishing wax for ice skates.
  • Use it to remove a broken light bulb from the socket; turn off power first.
  • Shred 1-2 tablespoons of soap and add to 1 quart of water for a natural bug spray.

  • Prevent dirt from building up under finger nails by raking your nails over a bar of soap first.
  • Use soapy water to help detect a gas leak or tire leak. Spray soapy water along pipe or tire and look for bubbles.
  • Add 1 T of ivory soap, 1 T washing soda, 1 T Borax and 2 T white vinegar to 1 Quart warm water for an all purpose cleaner.
