Soak a cotton ball in the oil and place in areas where you want to repel rodents or ants
Briefly breathe the oil to help ward off motion sickness
Add a few drops of oil to drinks to aid digestion or help with stomach upset; great with tea
Relieve inflammation from injury or arthritis by rubbing a few drops of the oil on the affected area; if the oil irritates the skin, mix the oil with a drop of lotion first

Sprinkle several drops of the oil onto an herbal wreath or potpourri to repel mosquitoes and flies in a room
Mix several drops of the oil with an unscented body lotion to repel insects and to help you feel more awake and alert
Add several drops of peppermint oil to vaporizer water to kill germs or relieve congestion when sick
Add a few drops of oil to some water, soak a washcloth in the mixture, wring out excess water, and place rag on forehead to help relieve tension headaches; avoid getting liquid in the eyes
Add a few drops of the oil to a water foot bath to relieve hot, aching feet
Add a few drops of the oil to a spray bottle full of water, spray on plants to repel caterpillars, aphids, ants and other insects
Add a few drops of the oil to a cup of water, rinse scalp to help control dandruff and oily scalp
